Default [WANTED] New scans of the Estes Maverick (1904) Fins

Ok, I've seen the .pdf on the Maverick's fins over on oldrocketplans.com (http://www.oldrocketplans.com/estes...04/est1904.htm)... However, there's no scale for the fins. I'm guessing that they're 3/32" thick, but I've got no idea of the dimensions of the fin other than that.

My printout of the file has the root edge as 1 11/16" long, but if the image isn't printed properly, who know how long it would really be.

Thanks!
Jim

Hi Jim,
I don't have the fin dimensions, sorry!

I did look at the instructions from your link.
Interesting - this is the only Estes kit I've seen where they have you
fill the balsa grain (Step 4) before gluing on the fins (Step 6)

The instructions also have you glue in the engine mount after the fins
are in place. With trailing fins that might be hard for some to do.
