Hello YORF'ers

I finished watching these video clips discussing the founding of America, and I learned much.

I hope that no one complains about these because there is a lot of 20th Century imposed ignorance that gets erased quickly while watching these.

There is a mention of a book at the end of part 3 that I recommend; I just ordered mine from Amazon.

I for one get onto these forums to escape all that stuff... Which I think is the reason that people HAVE hobbies. On A ROCKETRY FORUM I would prefer/expect to hear about a "D" motor or collectible "K" kit. From what I've seen outside of the forums you have a wealth of information about rocketry and when I saw that you joined the forums I was excited that you might share some of it. But alas, its just been a bunch of non-rocketry related stuff in the "Watering Hole" and "Free For All".

While, indeed, "nazi" means "National Socialist" (as opposed to the "sozi" or "Democratic Socialists" of the time), the actual aims of the party were far removed from the normal sense of what "socialism" means, or at least, were a narrow interpretation; the aims of socialism applying only to the "Aryans" or "ethnic Germans" and then only in a merit-based fashion (i.e. simply favoritism to a particular race and class). In all other senses, the Nazi party and the German government of the time was fascist.
