I like Land of the Lost as a kid. I rented the DVD of the show from Netflix one time. Wow!! Technology has come a LONG way!! Not sure if I'll go to see it, but I'll rent the DVD when it comes out.

OK, I can get away with this now without being sued since it was so freakin' long ago.

I worked for a VW dealership that provided all VW convertables for our hometown parade every year. (They would get them from VW dealerships all over the state).

Back in 1971 I was driving a convertable in the parade (all the employees had to drive!).

The "guest" clowns were the real Banana Splits from the TV show (we got together before the parade).

Well, it seems "the splits" had decided to start drinking (and burning a few... ) a few hours before the parade started. (this was 1971 BTW!)

It didn't turn out pretty...they were never asked to come back
