Korea was the only arena to see combat for the last varian tof the P-51, the P-51H.
The P-51H used almost none of the same components of the earlier aircraft in the series.
It was actually a larger aircraft all around.

I wondered about the 82's, but I didn't think that many of them had ever been built. As for the 51's, I didn't realize they saw that much service there. I'm inspired to go read up on them now
