Default Looking for scan of Estes decal D-6 and D-11

Anyone got a scan or a location for the Estes "Kit names" decals, numbers D-6 and D-11? I am working on a Cobra clone, and am interested in the D-6 in particular.

Thanks...

I should be able to put one or the other of those up by the end of the week, but hopefully someone else will beat me to it.

Whoever does, please send a copy to me as well so it can go online. Thanks.

I have a couple of the Estes kit name decals in the scrapbook that I have taken to NARACON and the last couple of NARAMs. I will attempt to scan them if no one else chimes in. Still waiting for the return of my Space Transport America decals that I lent to be scanned.

I have scans of both those decals, but can only find the one for D-11. D-6 must be at home buried on my Macintosh somewhere. When I get back later tonight I will look for it. I know I have it somewhere because I have prints of it in my decal collection.

In the meantime, if you want the D-11 scan let me know. I can email it to you since the file size isn't all that great. I have two versions, an original scan and a color corrected one (with the yellowing removed). I can send both.

Bill, here is what I have for you:

ESTES_Decal_651-D-11 complete

ESTES_Decal_651-D-6 partial but with Astron Cobra

If someone could clean them up and send them to Fred, that would be nice.

Chas

You didn't lend those to me, did you?

Kurt,

I thought you had those because I remember you making some decals like that and showing them to me at a WOOSH meeting eons ago. Could you send the files to me when you have time as well? Thanks.

I'll get them added to the Kurt's Decal Page.

Look forward to seeing these posted myself - been looking for the Farside X lettering for my own ' 1980 catalog version' Farside. Phred has the Farside X set listed, but not the entire sheet, so would be great to see these available .

I thought the other 'kit names' was posted someplace, but apparently not, hmmm... will have to look around and see where I saw that posted.

I do have the D5 ( Nasa logos, etc ) sheet, but I think Scott has that posted ?

~ AL

ps: Bill, if you only need the 'Astron CObra' lettering from the sheet, I have a couple partial vintage sheets - PM me with a snail mail address and I'll trim the cobra logo and send it off to you . lmk .
