Default Estes Sea Dart #1901

I'm putting the finishing touches on an Estes sea Dart#1901.

The question is: what would be scale? Gloss or flat? My wife already painted the booster section in flat black, but I can buff it with steel wool and make it gloss if necessary.

Thanks!

Oh goody! That will be easy--since I haven't glued the booster to the sustainer yet. Thanks!

So, what do you want to know? The rounds were actually blue booster, but Estes took a little liberty with the design or had been confused by some images. Check the last image and the booster appears black.

Thanks John. With the (necessarily) oversized booster fins and the incorrect colors, I'll definitely have to call this "semi" scale.

Well, Estes did, so I would not worry too much. Still up to your usual snuff too. And the fins are not too oversized actually. Of course, you could make them scale; folded and spring out...
