Default Empire Rockets ??

Saw a kit elsewhere that looked kinda cool- anyone have one or have insight on Empire ?
If you could reproduce the nc - it would be a cool upscale. The Sabot -

Don't know about Empire, but the kit looks a lot like the TLP Scimitar:

Maybe same designer? Even has dual 24mm clustered motors.
Reproducing the nose cone could be done by taking a standard long conical balsa nose cone and cutting out a segment , then gluing the tip back on.

Addendum: After reading a couple of reviews of Empire Rocket's kits ( the Bomarc and the Nike Ajax) at EMRR, and piecing together some similarities, I'm wondering if Empire might have been an earlier incarnation of The Launch Pad. Pure speculation on my part, maybe someone can weigh in with some verification. The opinions voiced at the end of the reviews concerning Empire's customer service were mostly negative. Missing recovery components, missing instructions, no response to e-mails, money sent in for kits that never arrived, etc.

I don't think there was any connection between Empire and The Launch Pad.

None at all, We used to sell Empire rockets on our site. I don't remember his name but he ran a small business out of NY state hence "Empire". Ran into some issues owing people kits/money and closed up shop.

The kits were solid if unspectacular . Similar to TLP in some ways.

If anyone is looking for a Nike Ajax kit, this seller produces them and sells them on eBay. Nice kit flown on 24 mm and can be converted to 29 mm if you like (your own conversion, not part of the kit). The seller is Vin Sauriol, and when I recently contacted him to ask about decals for a kit I bought from him a year or more in the past, he immediately sent me a set and refused to take any payment. So, a first class guy.
