Herb had tons of space related stuff. Most of it went to NASM.
Here is a pdf of the collection. http://airandspace.si.edu/research/...Finding_Aid.pdf I don't know what happen to his Cineroc films. |

Thanks for that! I looked, it was 191 pages long... However, no mention of the Cineroc films being included when I did a word search. I didn't know he was checked out by the Feds because of his requests for photos. Pointy Side Up! Jim .

What's depressing is how much of Herb's MODEL rocket stuff got thrown away. The family only saved the stuff that was sealed or in a box. Herb had hundreds of built rockets all over his house, many with Cinerocs and Camrocs mounted on them. He literally had a bath tub full of Cineroc film cartridges and a box big enough to hold an oven full of brand new Omega nose cones (he never used em because the Cinerocs always got the front seat). I remember he had one Cineroc/Omega combo with a British flag on the side, he told me it was the first Cineroc launched in the UK. It was nowhere to be found when his Dad called me over to evaluate his collection.
