I got home from Chicago quite late so after doling out candy to the local waifs I only have time for a few steps on the LJI.

I test fit the outer booster BT to inner booster BT centering rings. I then apply epoxy to the upper rim of the outer booster BT and insert the CR. After the epoxy sets I then use the bamboo grilling skewer to apply epoxy to the top ring assembly of the engine mount and then insert the inner booster BT through the upper CR and register it to the flange on the engine mount. So far so good.

Now for the reducer.

I first look ahead in the instructions to see where the LL's will be and then I draw a line at the designated location.

Without adhesive I insert the CR into the bottom of the reducer. I then use a stick to apply epoxy to the joint from the top of the reducer.

After that epoxy sets I then apply epoxy to the top CR on the booster assembly and slide the reducer and register it to the booster CR--rotating the reducer until the reducer seam is aligned with the LL line.

Now to begin the built-up fins......my specialty!!

I've laid out and inspected the (2) balsa sheets and there's no flaws. As you can see, one of the fins has a different detail on it's mounting tab.
