Default I Feel Dirty

After spending hours and hours over the years building and finishing rockets and planes to look great and fly better, I just spent less than 15 minutes slapping together a stand to test scuba regulators. I spent about 2 minutes finding some scrap wood, 5 minutes cutting a hole for the gauges, and another couple minutes slapping it together and mounting the Magnahelic and IP gauge. It's rough, ugly, and embarrassing to look at, but it's gonna do the job...and then get hidden from view.

I've made stuff like that.

What I do after I get whatever working, is find some kind of housing to fit every thing into.

I recently made a15 amp 28VDC power supply for electrolytic rust removal. I used a really really old Sears Craftsman battery charger (the battery charger with solenium rectifiers died ).

I just had to relabel it so nobody would try to charge their battery with it.

As long as you don't build something like this, you should be alright.

My niece who works at Fastenal sent me that pic... from main street in downtown Rochester, Indiana... (Fulton County, 3 counties south of the Michigan line, mid state, about an hour directly south of South Bend).

Two things immediately came to mind that I replied to her--

"We can't do it with this equipment!" and

"That's not the recommended perceedure..." (sic). LOL
