Cool! Rex should be getting one soon, too. I want one, but I don't want the first one...

Fin assembly is fast, instructions recommend CA, I used Model Masters CA it is plastic friendly and fairly slow cure for a thin CA.

Looks pretty nice! I need a new Nike Smoke to replace my old Centuri model that's heavily worn from too many flights. Those fins look pretty easy to do, isn't it?

given the 'luck' I seem to have with getting new stuff...I'm thinking that I'll not see mine before the 18th. looks like Mark will get the honor of debuting the NS at ECOF.

Looks like a decent lot of parts, is the nose cone pretty clean?

Those through the wall fins should (hopefully) allow for painting of the fins before attaching to the body tube, giving some really nice clean paint separation.

Of course, you gotta be able to paint the body tube separately as well, but it would SEEM that would be possible, too.

Do you see any potential show-stoppers in that regards? I too have a pretty well flight-worn Centuri Nike-Smoke that probably really needs to head to the retirement shelf.
