Last week it was learned that Hobbico had laid off 7% of it's workforce back in August:

I agree the hobby is in recession. I wonder if the Hobbico Stock deferral means they fully fund the plan as it goes along so funds are there on separation of service. It would be unusual and wise to have a defined contribution plan rather than a defined benefit plan, which most insolvent plans are.
