BTW, that appears to be an Alpha.

It looks like an Alpha to me - in which case Phred should buy it, not Bill

ps: as for the FP garage... I've dealt in vintage FP for 6-7 years, and 2.00 is a steal, those consistently bring 40-60 in good condition ...

Bill,

did you recieve the bird yet ?

just curious, the listing doesn;t note a diameter, just " ? Centuri "... are you sure it's not the Estes version ? ( hard to tell from the pic, looks real similar to the BT55 based one I have on the bench here ), in that case it would need the BNC-55F Carl does have listed.

No, I just paid for it yesterday. I have no idea if it's Estes or Centuri, but for $2.75, I figured it was worth a shot.

The rocket was waiting for me when I got home on Saturday night. It had been packed in a shoebox and marked "FRAGILE", so of course it had been treated as roughly as possible and was barely recognizable as a shoe box. Inside I found that the rocket now had two broken fins. I don't know who to be more pissed at. I already have the fins glued back on, but I forgot to check on the actual diameter. I'll know more later this afternoon, but after a quick check of the plans, I'm thinking Estes. .

Hey, as a convicted abuser of innocent rockets, I'll gladly and graciously allow you to take a few of these poor mangled missiles off my hands for a small fee.
