My Rokitflite Fake Wulf, finally
Completed this one the other day. Can't believe it took me so long to break down and buy it and then to finish it. Scott's kits are amazing, easily the best directions I've ever seen in kits.
I know this scheme was used on FW-190s that escorted jets, and not on any jets themselves, but I thought it would make it easier to see as it glides out of sight So Scott, when is your next "independent" design coming out??? Drew |

Beautiful.......one of the best iv'e seen. Makes me want to break mine out. Mine is still far down the build line. He might have to cut ahead in line. ....Again, Great work!!

I WAS going to have one by NARAM, but I was not happy with the flight tests . Gorgeous build as usual on the Fake Wulf Drew . -Scott |

That looks too good to fly! Very nicely done. I really like the simulated panel lines. Great effect.

Finally got a flight out of this today at NERRF 7. Beautiful boost, quick glide, and the front fin on the bottom cracked off on landing, but a fun flight nonetheless.

Excellent build and nice finish. I've had one in the box for awhile. On posts like this, I always say "Hmm, makes me want to build mine". And it does, but there are about 25 other rockets I've already said the same thing about!
Also, I'm very impressed with the launch field picture -- that looks like an incredible place to fly.

That's the METRA field in Pine Island, NY. It's a sod farm with lots of room in one direction, but a tree-lined creek in the other direction that attracts rockets and gliders
Build it! It's a great kit and Scot's instructions can't be beat. Mine's little heavy because of all the paint. The only reason it got damaged on landing was because it flew into a tent or a truck or both. |

John Schutz glider clone
Here's a pic of a boost glider I built last year. I tried to replicate the John Schutz/Estes glider of 1961. It boosts straight and glides great. I use 1/2 A motors, anything larger will pull the wings off..
