All this stuff about Brady and his under inflated balls got me to thinking about a new oddball project.

A regulation NFL football is roughly 11 - 11 1/4" long X 6 5/8" diameter and should weigh 14-15 ounces. I'm thinking about a standard football for a nose inserted into a big fat booster tube, maybe 5-6" diameter. At deployment, the booster laundry would dislodge the football which would fall to Terra Firma and bounce around like a Romo fumble. The booster itself would descend on chute just like uptown.

Silver and Blue of course with those big Stars here and there. Maybe I could get Tony and the Boys to autograph it?

You'd probably have to fly it at an independent launch. I think the ball is heavy enough that the NAR/TRA wouldn't allow it to free fall. However, if/when you do fly it, make sure to have a bunch of guys out their to dive on the ball and kick it around like the classic Raiders Stabler-to-Banaszak-to-Casper "Holy Roller" fumble.....and post the video!

The booster needs some classic decals "The Bike" (classic/original jock strap brand from Bike Web Co.), "Riddell", "Wilson", etc.
