drying times for priming over Titebond 3
Hi guys!
Just out of curiousity how long do you let your fillets dry\cure before priming? I use Rustoleum Auto primer filler over Titebond 3 and wait 24 hours but today I'm tempted to push my luck and try in around 4-6 hours Take care and happy humpday! Jeff

The only adhesives I would attempt to finish over in 4-6 hours would be 5-minute Epoxy or CA.

The label says to not disturb the glue joint for 24 hours. Since Titebond III cures by drying rather than chemical reaction, it would be best to not do anything which tends to inhibit water evaporation for a day.

Thanks for your input guys. Thought this is the response I'd get so I'm glad I to have this verified. Take care and a almost happy Friday Jeff.
