bordans milk

I saw that yesterday. I found it ironic that she advertised the milk piece with the milk pieces fairly well covered.

I don’t think I’ll bid on that AstroCam 110, mainly because it’s already................

Wait for it......

I kinda feel like a **** pointing this out, but some would probably say all this chatter about a single eBay posting is probably udder nonsense.

Just sayin'....

Earl

Well, dang. Looks like the 'no-no word' filter filtered out the word that was book marked by b's with two o's in the middle. Oh, well.

But you got even with it by using udder instead of utter

Wow that one has a Bigfoot launcher in the kit pics too... that was a nice launcher. Must've been an early one. I bought the exact same Astrocam setup when I was in high school in the 80's and it came with a crappy regular three leg Estes pad... The Bigfoot pad was FAR superior.

The other stuff ain't bad either LOL

LOL remember the thong bikini avatar she used on the Terribly Run Forum for about 2 days before they TOTALLY flipped out and started a huge flame war over it??

That was funny... Other than that, not a big SHR fan either.

I guess when all is said and done, we can claim some level of 'purity' in our rocketry involvements.

When we look at the marketing efforts for many, many products, s e x has been used as an enticement to sell items for a long, long time. At the same time, when we look at the historical marketing efforts for model rocketry, practically no real attempts have been made to systematically use said efforts to sell rocketry items.

It is probably especially noteworthy too when you look at the typical, historical demographic for model rocketry items: young, male tweens and teens who, in many cases, are begining to become very aware of 'those' kinds of things.

And maybe we owe some of that 'clean-cut' marketing efforts to Vern and Lee; back in the day those particular approaches would have probably been frowned on by parents, teachers, activities directors (e.g., Cub Scouts, etc.). Vern and Lee seemed to have taken the high road in that regards.

Still, it remains that the vast majority of us got into rocketry and have stayed there, more or less, for decades and decades not because some saucey tart of a thing flashed a toothy smile (or some other biological attributes) at us, but because of our genuine interest in rocketry.
