ARC Arcturus rocket images
Hello All,
Attached below are scans of Atlantic Research Corporation's promotional sheet on their Arcturus sounding rocket. The Arcturus was a dual-thrust (having a short core-burning booster propellant grain and a "cigarette-burning" [end-burning] sustainer propellant grain) rocket, which could use the Arcas nose cones & payload sections, and was designed to be fired from the Arcas closed-breech launchers. The Arcturus was not put into production as an operational vehicle, as the lengthened Super Arcas filled its role instead.
