I have never used the 20 min finishing stuff. You say it sands easier ? That might be just what I am looking for to do fillets with on lpr and mpr models. Some will argue epoxy is overkill on model rockets. Thats another thread I have tried adding micro balloons and it it helps the sanding a little. ( Jim is not like TBZEP who love's to sand ! ) I try to spend the time on most of my sport models to make them look nice. What really irks me is when you fly them the first time and a fin pops off on landing. Can you add paint to your epoxy to get it close in color to the model's original color? Laying a bead of epoxy down with some pigment in it to cover the glaring repair where the fin was glued back on might yield a result so the repaired area doesn't look like a Frankenstein repair ? Comments ?

I would definitely build with Epoxy if intending on using realistic E engines with some kick such as the E30 or RMS24/40 E28.
I will not fly mine on anything less, so mine needed it. It will fly OKAY on the Estes E9, but ONLY in next to zero wind with a 4'+ length launch rod. It flies GREAT on the RMS 24/40 F24 and F39.
