Default Request: Edmunds Arcie

I'm trying to revive a splintered Edmunds Arcie from the '90s. However the instructions got misplaced after two or three basement floods and several moves. Now I'm looking for instructions, especially the sheets concerning installing the receiver and servo and balancing the thing. Thanks!

I'll see what I have in my files. If I have, will send.

Okay, thanks!

BTW, I glued my new replacement stabs and rudders on today.

I've all but given up on ever getting Arcie plans. Now if somebody could tell me the recommended size of servo, whether those two unpruned arms on the X-horn should be pointing backwards or forwards, and how much the ailerons should droop, I could pretty much reverse engineer the rest from where tinkering meets spotty memory. Thanks!

BTW, I'm also reviving an abandoned Astroblaster that was given to me. That I have the instructions for... I think...

Doug,

Did you try contacting Rob via his web webpage? (There's an "ask me a question" link there.)

You're a recognized name in the hobby, and I can't help but think he'd help you out. It's not like you're trying to clone it - you just lost the directions, right?

HTH.

[Second thought] I see Questor posted herein that he scanned and sent them to you. Did you not get them? Perhaps you could PM him a current email addy. (Or did he perhaps send you Arcie II plans instead?)

Doug

At the risk of being ungracious, I was sent Arcie II plans from Questor and Mr. Edmonds. The Arcie II is a whole different animal.

This is after reviving a dead G4 Mac Mini, getting the system updates including those 147 JAVA security updates, installing the OS9 environment, and then finding and installing ClarisWorks 5 from '98 to read the file that Edmonds set me to find out that the files were for the Arcie II after all.

At least I had the Klingberg, Arcie II, Astroblaster, and related Spektrum stuff to dink with while the Mac was going through its motions.....
