Default The Mighty Saturn Rockets are coming!!!

The Mighty Saturn Rockets from Boyce Aerospace in 1/100 Scale

Boyce Aerospace is rolling out all those kits that we have been waiting on other companies to do for decades and now they have went and done it again. They will very soon have the Saturn 1 SA5 and SA7 available for-sale.

What I really like about these builder kits is that they have the perfect mix of paper tubes and 3d printed parts. Also, these plastic parts are heavy duty in comparison to other 3d parts out there.
As an extra bonus, you should be able to buy replace parts are parts you need to finish a personal build. Painting the models will also be much easier to.

The SA5 comes with about 24 3d parts and the SA7 comes with around 27 3d parts. You supply the tubes.

As far as I know, no one has every offered these two rockets in 1/100 scale before and certainly not with this level of detail. Boyce Aerospace is also redesigning the Saturn 1b with a mix of paper and 3d parts to. And look out for the Saturn V with five operational motors coming out soon!

Now we all have a chance to complete a full set of 1/100 that got us to the Moon by adding the Saturn 1’s to our collection.

For further details, please visit Boyce Aerospace website at: http://boyceaerospacehobbies.com/

Hope you enjoy the pictures that Boyce Aerospace Hobbies has made available.

Intersting looking kit parts.

What would be really nice to see, when the parts are ready for shipment, are some good, clear photos of the actual 3-D printed parts themselves instead of the rendered images. The rendered images are nice, but it is hard to judge the quality of the actual parts that way.

Good luck with the offerings.

Earl

P.S. - Oh, just took a second look and see the last photo of the bunch is an actual photo! Ok, can you supply photos then that show some of the parts a little closer? Thanks!

Thanks for the pictures. The last one of the real models looks outstanding.
I really believe these kits are going to be big sellers. I can only speak for myself but I like the uses of the paper tubes. I don't mind having to buy them separately. It will make painting and other detailing easier. So far I'm all in on these kits.

I agree 100%. I'm down for two also. Boyce Aerospace does great work and stands behind it. I just love my Juno 1 and Gemini Titan Capsule, the parts are the best I've seen on the market.

He has three Raise 3D N2 printers!

Sure saves a lot of work to do a total scratch build that is for sure and than fin can should be solid as compared to balsa and cardboard.

I actually asked their permission before making this post because they aren't fully tested yet. Those are his boiler plate models.

From my understanding, SA5 had a test flight to 400' that went great!

Flash,

I am really sorry to hear this about the SA-5 test. I am trying to cut back. Too many kits...

...perhaps one more.

Always loved the SA-5.
