Simply baffling.
I want to put a SEMROC baffle assembly into an Estes Black Brant II, but I don't know how far down to insert it. How far below the "laundry" pack should it go? Thanks!

It is not critical as long as you leave enough room for your laundry, the shock cord, the shoulder of the nose cone and a small amount of insurance wadding.
Other than that, the more forward the baffle is, the better your CP,CG relationship. Bill

Also, the further the baffle is from the engine, the less damage it suffers each time you fly the rocket. Leave enough room to pack it, and not much more.
