Default Carl McLawhorn of SEMROC is in the hospital

I got word from Sheryl that Carl had a major heat attach last night and is scheduled for quadruple bypass surgery on Thursday.

I'm a bit in shock right now, but my prayers go out to everyone there. When I last talked to Sheryl she indicated that Carl has high expectations of making it through this in great shape, but still...

News like this can't help but bring your day to a screeching halt...

I'll post more as I get information.

That's awful. It sounds like he has the willpower and the medical care to make a strong recovery. My thoughts and prayers will be in South Carolina today.

My dad had a triple bypass after a heart attack and was well for many, many years after that. I pray for a similar outcome for Carl and his family.

Yoiks!

Best wishes, Carl & family, and stay on top of that, whether it involves stents, statins, or the "zipper" treatment.

FWIW, my father has been through bypasses twice and three or four stents and is doing fine.
