Default Sod Farm This Weekend Days Of Thunder!

I have finished my Delti THunder so I am hoping the weather will hold out for the launch. For some reason my wife has the same look in her eyes that she did for the Death Star. I don't think she cares if it never comes back. Must be because it covers our kitchen table.

Should be a fun day.

I'll be a bit late due to baseball, but I'll be there!

I'd love to be there...but WisDot has other ideas. looks like I'll have to skip the sod farm this month(can't get there from here, at least not w/o jumping through all sorts of hoops(detours)). hope we have good weather for J.C.

I'm hoping to make it for this one.
I think that the two stage thunder kit of death will go up on C11 motors.
It is so light that the D12 to D12 option is simply outrageous. Fun at Midwest power perhaps?

You guys might want to put 1/4" launch lugs on these birds. I've found that 3/16" rods
allow them to bounce around on the pad in the slightest breeze making them fall off the power pods, and the shake rattle and roll is crazy to watch.

I've got my DeeCee ready to go. I even took the time to paint it.

GREAT day of flying today. Lots of gliders and everything else. My flexi glider is still up I think. I flew it the second time on a 1/2 A and it made about 5 circles on its way down and then started hitting thermals. It kept gaining altitude and we lost site of it 1/4 mile or so south of the sod farm. Not bad for about $1 in parts. I will let everyone else chime in on their flights but it was good day.
