Default Screen Printed Decals

Does anyone know of a place that will screen print decals anymore? In the past I worked with a place called After Hours Graphics in Ohio, but apparently they are out of the screen printing business. I want to get some printed up but it may be that this is a dying art.

I do have an Alps printer but there are some colors that cannot be reproduced with Alps inks. After Hours printed 100 or so for around $200 which was reasonable.

This is probably an obvious question, but did you try Google to look for businesses like that?

I sure did. I came up with lots of places that print T-shirts and coffee mugs, but not much with decals. You have to be careful since some places that say they make "decals" don't mean water slide model ones.

I dunno. Two places that I did find never returned my emails

OK, so I am replying to my own post.

I spent some time today looking for custom screen printers of model decals, and I found out the new home for After Hours Graphics. Apparently the guy I was working with split off from the company he previously worked for. I'll contact him on Monday and see what is up.

Here is a website I found that lists some other dealers:

Anyway, this ought to do it

Bel Decals should be able to help you out, though their minimums may be too high...

Well, maybe they could but after two emails and no replies I really don't know.

Five to eight years go there were screen printers out there all over the place that made custom decals. It just doesn't seem that way today.

Are you planning on kitting something, Kurt?

No, not kitting anything, but I want to get some things made for my own cloning needs and there will be parts left over that I could sell. It's not a secret I just want to see if I can get the stuff made first before I would make it public.
