Estes Cylon Raider???
Anyone have any information on this?
I was browsing some old Estes catalogs and found in the 1978 cat. an artist rendering for a model Cylon Raider rocket...in the 1979 cat. same picture but saying it would be available in July of 79...in the 1980 cat it is not even offered...did this model ever become available? I have never seen any pictures of this rocket just artists renditions. Just wondering why it only lasted 6 months if available at all? |

Estes never could get it stable.

But... You can make a paper Cylon Raider and modify it to fly. Stuff and 18" BT-50 in it, add a little nose weight and off you go.

Anything containing Baltar could only have marginal stability at best.
