Question Hello and a request for "Snarky" plans

Hello all,

I am new here to YORF but have been back into model rocketry since I retired a few years ago.

I am getting to the point where I feel comfortable cloning and was wondering if anyone could share some Snarky plans or, at the very least, the template for the scoop tube?

I have built a Firefox and there is a lot similar so if I had the scoop template, I could probably wig out the rest.

THX in advance!!

I don't have the plans or patterns for it (I would happily share them if I did), but I hope you realize that the title of your posting has a connotation--and a very negative one, at that--that is completely different from what your posting is really about.

That's okay--once I read your posting, I saw that you hadn't meant it that way. The Snarky kit brings to mind other interesting "scooped" kit possibilities such as the Vought Regulus II (see: http://www.designation-systems.net/dusrm/m-15.html ), a real "hot rod" cruise missle that had a large air intake like the Snarky's, for its J-79 afterburning turbojet engine (the early test version of the Regulus II used the J-65 turbojet). The Regulus I (see: http://www.designation-systems.net/dusrm/m-6.html ) would make an interesting boost-glider or rocket glider (it too could use ducted rocket propulsion) as well.

Tim has actually posted everything on-line......

https://www.apogeerockets.com/Rocke...arky_Rocket_Kit

My daughter's boyfriend sometimes refers to my daughter as being snarky. So I bought him a kit. Gonna decal it with my daughter's name.
