Default Centuri Screaming Eagle Build

I've started the build of the Centuri
SCREAMING EAGLE

on the build blog at:
www.modelrocketbuilding.blogspot.com

The PowrPad launcher/controller was assembled right before the Screaming Eagle.
This starter kit was a good find on Ebay. I'm sure it was a first build for many.

I never got that kit but I do have one and a half of the launch pads. Back in the day I started with the Alpha 1 Starter set. But century was my go to company 2 out of 3 kits.

That was my first kit/starter set. Looks like you got an earlier kit too....the chrome band around fin unit is narrow in your set. The later ones had a wider band. Mine had the narrower band too, which I think looks better.

It's a good flyer!

It was mine, along with a bonus... the Bandito. I ordered a pack of the only engines listed as compatible with both rockets, the B4-6 (dang I miss them). It was the Bandito launched on the B4-6 that wowed me enough to keep me in the hobby.
