Danny,
VERY cool! The motor wrapped in white to the left is an original "Brown" motor. Really rare. I've seen them included in the original starter sets, in white labeled boxes of 6, but I don't know if they were available separately. The others look to be original Mabel Estes motors. I've not seen MMI motors labeled "upper stage" or "lower stage." Anyone have any idea what the impulses were? Steve |

Hi All, This was Indeed a wonderful find. It was all under a Alpha III outfit with a Foxfire & Skinni Mini. You just barerly could see the Engine box, and parts of other MMI stuff, so I had no real idea of what I was getting. The blue paper says the 'Styrene" engine block was no longer used, But to " Wrap a Rubber Band around the Motor until it fit her motor Tube" ! How wild is that ?!! Plus the Red Engines are Quote- " Super Type B 6" High Performance Engines. The Upper & Lower's were a 1st to me too---they Came with the Booster Kit. They have NO engine designation on them. The Propellant levels inside appear as they may be A's. Think, not only a=re these the World's 1st Rocket, But now the World's 1st TWO Stager! Also all the paper work is just too cool to describe---the countdown on the MMI starts at T Minus 10 MINUTES !. I will scan this stuff and Gladly post it. There is a Lot to do--Is this a good Place to put it? I have a roll over scanner that will do this in color and in it's True size. I want to share this with All of you, so feel free to ask. Another thing you can do is Use a Semroc Aerobee Hi, and get some BT 40 tube, Now I have the Fin Patterns, so you can make a 2 Stager if you wish ! The 3rd Engine is Black and says "Standard Type A-4 Engine" OK, please let me know if I can help--I sure don't wanna be selfish with any of this. If it is permitted here, you can email me direct at dannyo@carolina.rr.com. I will send copies of what you want. Again---this is a Truly Fun Find. See Ya, Danny Almond.
