I left the thrust ring out of my Ventris kit.

The kit motor mount tube is eight inches long and a longer 29mm tube could be accommodated.

If you're flying a longer motor, your flying a reloadable of some sort, at which point your rear closure acts as a thrust block. I'm surprised that piece is even included with the new molded S/U cases, did it come with a hook of some sort too?
