Default Fresh Off The Workbench - Canopus 2

This bird is a re-build of a sport cluster model that I designed back in 1974. It takes an 18mm engine in the core and two 13mm engines in the booster pods. Also a great flier on a single core engine.

If anyone should care to build their own Canopus 2, the plans were published in the Model Rocketeer, September 1983 issue.

More details and pics on the blog listed below.

Sounds like a good candidate for the new Quest composite 18mm D in the center and a couple vintage Centuri 13mm B4m's in the pods.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Wow, I can only imagine the altitude this thing could attain with that engine combo! I had enough of a hard time tracking it on a B6-4 single engine flight. Then, of course, my eyes ain't what they used to be.....
