My copy of Sport Rocketry arrived today, and after dinner I retired to the library to check out the coverage of NARAM 55. Saw some familiar faces. John Brohm made it in twice, and Gus even got his name printed with his chute powdering pic. As far as I knew, only one pic was taken of me, so I figured my "Cover of the Rolling Stone" moment would have to wait a couple of years.
Then I went back to page 3. I was looking at the picture of the guy loading the Orion and realized that I had a yellow shirt just like his. And sandals. Yeah, I was a little slow on the uptake. I also had shorts, HD shades, and a baseball cap like his, not to mention thick calves and grey hair.
I feel like Doug Sams, man.
