Did you make it 18 or 24mm ?

18mm, but the upscale will be 24mm. I've got a 24mm Missile Toe ready to go, but I didn't have any flesh-colored paint to do the toe with.

Bill,

Is that a 1 to 1 with the 18mm instead of 13mm or did you upscale for the 18mm? Decals from Excelsior?

Yes and no. It's an 18mm 1:1, but I printed the decals myself on sticker paper to keep it authentic. Looks like crap now that I clearcoated it, but I can live with it.

Has anyone tried coating the decals like that with Future and then clear coat? I've got a few that I need to clear coat but was wondering if a layer of Future over the decals first will protect them.....

Anything wet seems to dull the stickers.

Default My Daughters Zoom Broom

This was her level 2 rocket and it flies on a J-570. Because of the design and large fins the rocket weights 26 Lbs. We had to add 6 lbs. to the nose cone to make it stable.
