It obviously is even better on C5-0 boosters.
If we could get even the C5-0 back (barring possible return of the B14-0) it would be a TON better than what we have now.
There is absolutely NOTHING the C6-0 and C6-3 do that the C5-0 and C5-3 doesn't do BETTER.

Agreed!

Unlike Estes igniters that have a tape strip across them to keep the leads separated, the MRC igniters have a tiny glass bead over the wires to keep them separated.

I have not flown any of these, but a friend bought some at the same hobby store, and they worked flawlessly.

The MRC Tracker motors were the original German made MRC motors with a wrapper and sold in a two-pack as part of the MRC re-vamped Concept II model rocket product line.

The Concept II product line was announced in 1988 and released in 1989.

I need to write up a history of MRC's short-lived model rocket products. I have pictures of prototypes of the second generation of Concept II model rockets that were never released.

Jerry,

Here are the pictures of the sides of the Centuri motor box. Since I cannot post all 6 in one post, I've split them up into two posts.

It really is fascinating that so much information was supplied on the box.

Here are the front, back, left side, and right side.

Bob,

I am not sure why I thought the motors were possibly made in 1979. I could find no markings on them that looked like a date code. Next to the motor designation of B4-4, there is a "JBR1".

The price tag on the package says "8 28 89", so I assume they marked them with the date when they priced them. (The B motors wer $3.65 for a 2-pack). I am pretty sure now that I must have bought them in 1989. My friend that also bought some of these motors moved away in late 1989 or early 1990.
