I hope it lives up to expectations. I was very disappointed with last year's "Ascension". That one was so bad, Tricia Helfer's skinny dipping scene couldn't save it.

The show had promise, but it didn't deliver. At least it had a somewhat futuristic spaceship setting, which most Sci-Fi shows these days don't have. It's much easier and much cheaper for the setting to be on a bombed out future earth with no modern/futuristic structures or technology, or a far off planet that looks alarmingly like Canadian wilderness....cause it's filmed in Canadian wilderness. Doh! Tons of stuff is now filmed in Canada because of wild taxation, permits, fees, etc. in the USA.

We visited Vancouver, BC, Canada just over 10 years ago. Vancouver is the Hollywood of Canada. Lions Gate Productions is one of the largest production companies there. We visited a few T.V. and movie locations while we were there.
