Yes. The description in the auction tells the story. Bob Kaplow has one in his collection. I posted a photo of it recently in one of the threads here.

I'd heard of them... Maybe I did see one at NARAM 50.

1. Real.
2. Not mass-market.
3. I know this guy.
4. Bidding? Do you have a recent 2nd mortgage?

Just Jerry

Terms: Estes Brown Dorffler Rare Centuri Enerjet Astron

Statement: Estes Brown Dorffler Extremely Rare. One of a kind. This was not for sale at the time. For experimental and educational use only. Mike Dorffler and Ed Brown made a number of these with left over Enerjet parts. They called these, "UPROAR!" They were not for sale, of course. Unused/mint cond. Has written on it: 906C/100 Newton secs/12 seconds. Once in lifetime.

My a$$: Check my other auctions for more. Hundreds & hundreds of items to come.

Okay, maybe yes indeed.

Comment: I flew a G in Ed's back yard, who can beat that?

Fred, you made a similar reference in the Enerjet 1340 thread (this is the same person who offered that item for sale on ebay).

Can you provide background on who he is (I know his name, have bought stuff from him before on ebay, mainly Centuri-related memorabilia and such)? Is there a level of, how should I put it, dislike or distrust, in this person?

I don't care what your personal stance is one way or the other.....just interested in what this person's background may be (as I said, I know his 'real' name, I just don't know him in any other capacity other than his past eBay listings).

Was he a former Centuri/Estes staffer, or did he formerly run a hobby shop, etc.?

Earl

If it's who I think it is, then it is a very nice guy who has been active in Model Rocketry for a long time. As a matter of fact, he was very, very active in "MODEL ROCKETRY" as well.

He did (George)? I remember buying a bunch of ST-20 from him in '98. It was rare back then. He also had the 5" tubes to make a rocket using the Gemini capsule. I can't remember, I think it was the 1/24th scale plastic kit.

Ed Brown is a member here who logs in often. Maybe he'll pipe in and give us a bit of history on these motors.

I have a couple of these that I bought around 10 years ago from Mike Dorffler.
