New Ebay scam targeting rocket collectors
Well, thought I'd put this one up here, so no one gets ripped off.
It's a new scam (least to me) and the scamer is hitting high priced vintage kits claming to be the owner of the auction, and sending out a VERY convincing buy it now to the top bidder of un-ended auctions. If you get one of these do not click on the links, and foward it to Spoof@Ebay.com, and Spoof@paypal.com Cheers, Bruce |

I wonder if Jonesy is a spammer too? I know for a fact that there is one out there who is at least aware of model rocketry... my wedding video business email addy gets daily stock market spam with REALLY creative subject titles, and one was something about Estes, another mentioned Vern, and one waiting for me today said something about launching. Oh yes, there was another a few weeks ago that has Centuri in the subject. I would have supposed that they just harvested addys from rocket forums and harvested relavent keywords, but this is my wedding video addy ONLY and I've never used it to register at anything other than a wedding video forum.
