Default NARAM 11 Photos.....

I just located a 51 year old Colorado Springs newspaper article covering NARAM 11. Lots of cool pics to scan.

I see the last picture refers to a Saturn 1B as a Saturn V by some mis-informed reporter.

Any idea whether the field at the Air Force Academy where this event was held is still an empty field? If it is like most places, a great deal of the landscape can change in 51 years.

I believe there has been little change to the field. NARAM 11 was flown on what is essentially the parking area for Falcon Stadium. I haven't been there in quite some time, but it may now be paved.

Most of the area around Falcon Stadium is still dirt. Essentially no pavement at all!
