Default Patch or Pin Preference?

The NAR is investigating various methods to support the Historical Preservation and Exhibits Fund which supports historical rocketry collections.

As a potential supporter of this cause would you prefer to show your support by wearing an embroidered patch on your range jacket or hat, or perhaps an enamel pin? Both options are being explored.

For what it's worth, I would wear a pin.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. What is it about the pin option that you find more appealing?

Versatility, mainly. You can display it on pretty much anything: hats (my preference), shirts, jackets.

Pins are nice but I prefer patches. I guess it goes back to my Scouting days. Patches can be sewn on anything from daypacks to caps. If you cant sew or bribe your wife - they look great thumb tacked to the wall along with those old classic plans waiting to be built.

Default Pin

I definitely prefer a pin. All my NARAM and other pins are on my rocket hat while my patches sit in a drawer.

I'd like a pin as I can wear it on anything I choose to put it on at any given time.

I'd have room on my rocket room wall for patches, but there is no way there would be room for plans!

Both... there are places that patches just look tacky, and places where pins are just too small.
