Default Estes Saturn V

This may already be posted somewhere but the Estes Saturn V kit has been discontinued. Tower and AC Supply are out already.

The AC Supply site does list it as discontinued.
The Saturn V kit is still listed "in stock" on the Estes website:

https://www.estesrockets.com/002157-saturn-v

The Saturn V kit has been a limited run in the past and is brought back
every few years. With the new plastic fins it'll eventually show up again.

In stock is surely correct but Tower is, for many years anyway, the first to announce new models and discontinued ones. Unless someone got their wires crossed, I'll bet the distribution channels are drying up. It was limited after all. AC was selling them for under $50.

They should be ramping up production instead after being featured recently on "Halt and Catch Fire" and "The Big Bang Theory"!

(heck, we're responsible for at least ten kit sales!)

Tower Hobbies now shows it as discontinued. There are plenty still out there in the hobby shops and online. 50 year anniversary of Apollo 11 in two years, what a great time for another re-release.
