Default Securing A Motor Mount

What's the best way to secure a 29mm motor mount in a body tube designed for a 38mm motor?

Permanently- Epoxy
Temporary Use- Friction-fit with masking tape.

Will the ejection charge of an "H" motor blow out a motor mount secured with masking tape?
