Default Xarconian Cruiser is finished!

The Xarconian Cruiser is finished in all respects now! I set the waterslides with Solvaset and then clear coated the rocket with Future.

Thank you Estes for such a beautiful design and a challenging build!

Very nice! And inspiring. You can bet I'll be referencing this if/when I try one of my own.

Thank you! My best advice is: have LOTS of #11 blades ready!

Very nice as usual but to be perfectly honest, thats a nose cone only a mother could love. Maybe its one of those things that'll grow on me, like a tic.

They could have used the nosecone from the Aquarius Explorer! Then just give it a pyschedelic paint job and call it Barbarella. The Tea Party conservatives at the launch would, upon sight of such a liberal monstrosity, be forced to get out the hot tar and feather pillows.

Yes, it is going to have to grow on me as well. Maybe some racing orange to replace the tan and make the black decals pop. I like where Estes is going with these kits so when the economy turns around I just might go out and buy one at my LHS for full MSRP. It kinda looks like an Interceptor crashed into a Flis kit and landed in the Estes parts bin, but at least it is catering to us cheap, picky and highly sensitive BARs!
