To repel moles best with Castor oil, it needs to be mixed 75% Castor oil with 25% Dawn dish soap. The soap allows the oil to penetrate deep into the soil, driving the moles out of your yard into the neighbors. Spray the mixture out of an Ortho weed-b-gon or similar hose end sprayer. Depending on the sprayer you may have to thin it with about 25% isopropanol.

When I was a kid, my neighbor was a dentist, and had Phisohex bottles at all the sinks in his house. When he switched to Phisoderm, I asked him why, and he explained that Phisohex had been linked to cancer*, IIRC (45 years ago).

How ironic that the soap that's supposed to prevent disease was causing it.

[Edit]
*Wiki says "brain damage caused by hexachlorophene".

Started out as Phisohex. Had to use that as a kid when I got a bad staph infection in my knee. My dad had to squeeze the pus out of it. Hurt like hell and you wouldn't believe all the pus!

That's right. (I can't imagine how painful a staph infection in a knee would be.)

Not sure if it was their product, but in the early '70s my Dad was a pharmaceutical rep for Abbott Laboratories. I'm given to understand they used to drive around with trunks full of amphetamine and barbiturate samples. Before they were regulated.

I remember that stuff. Anti-zit soap.

I was in college in Boulder (wow, it was a even more crazy then) and one grocery store had a sign saying it was either banned, or believed to have carcinogens, and were giving refunds if you brought in a bottle.

Amphetamines and Barbiturates still should NOT be regulated.
The entire controlled substances act should be over turned as an illegal restriction on individual freedom. The ONLY individuals that should be in control of what is ever prescribed and in what amounts should be individual MDs and DOs with no stinkin gubmint meddling EVER.
Yes, an UNREGULATED FREE-FOR-ALL.
If idiots abuse medications and OD, that is what I call "natural selection thinking of the herd".

Yep, though use 2 cups castor oil to 1 cup Dawn in a gallon of water.
