Very rarely does one see used Pintos for sale in any states that get snow in the winter.
The sheet metal used on those cars was absolute trash in regards to corrosion protection.
Those that have lasted up here were rustproofed by either the now defunct Tuff-Kote Dinol or Ziebart.

It’s a hatchback. Not sure on the model year. Light blue.

Henry should have listened to Lee and not rushed it into production.

Agree with tbzep's above statement.
Could have been a decent economy car.
They rushed it into production due to the phoney 70's gasoline "crisis".
My family bought and drove new cars with ALL BIG BLOCK 454's, 455's, and 460's all through the 'crisis' . Only bought cars with small block V8's when factories stopped offering big-blocks.
Still to this day I have only owned one car without a V8.
I have never owned a car with a top speed below 150mph.

Here it is, as promised. It’s a stick shift too. I was trying to get pictures of the interior, it’s in decent shape as well, but all you can see is my reflection.

You do know that the hood, grill, and trunk are customized? Looks like somebody tried to "Lincolnize" this pony. Trying to make the proverbial silk purse out of a sow's ear.
Reminds me, there was a Mercury version of the Pinto called the Bobcat.

I know. It’s just funny to look at. It’s been sitting there for at least seven years, maybe longer. The lot only seems to sell weird, older cars. They have an 1976 Oldsmobile 98 sitting there too.

Good grief.
Somebody ruined a perfectly good Mark IV trunk-hump and Mark V grille.
A '76 Olds 98 at least has a decent 455 in it.
That Pinto is a major hoopty-heap. What a ridiculous POS.
Guaranteed it's not a V8 Pinto...those all had automatic transmissions, unless a custom conversion.
