Default Northern Illinois Rocketry Conference

The Northern Illinois Rocketry Club is having a conference on Saturday, February 18;

What: 2012 Northern Illinois Rocketry Conference for those interested in model rockets

When: Saturday, February 18, 2012, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Where: Challenger Learning Center, 222 W. Church Street, Woodstock, IL

Who: Contact Mark Bundick, 815-337-9068, mbundick@earthlink.net

Details: The 2012 Northern Illinois Rocketry Conference (NIRCON-2012) will be held on Saturday, February 18, at the Challenger Learning Center, Woodstock, IL starting 9:00 AM. The one day conference will feature seven speakers covering model rocketry topics from “Rocketry 101” to “International Competition”. There will also be two “Make It – Take It” sessions for beginners interested in building their first model rocket kit. The event is open to the public and free.

This is the first year for a joint Northern Illinois Rocketry Association (NIRA) and Fox Valley Rocketeers (FVR) one day convention.

We're working on seeing if we can get local vendors and/or hobby shops to attend and sell.
