New Scans of the Estes Omega K-52P (2-piece PNC-60AH version)
Thanks to scigs30, I've now got a new scan of the instructions for the Estes Omega K-52P. This version has the earlier verson of the PNC-60AH nosecone. However, the front of the instructions show the kit with a BNC-60AH (balsa) nosecone. His kit came with a plastic nosecone, the PNC-60AH. This version of the nosecone was the early, injection molded version, which is shorter, and heavier than the later one piece, blow molded, plastic nosecone that the kit also was released with (as the catalog number 1200 kit).
Estes Omega K-52P (Early PNC-60AH (Injection Molded)) Instructions, Front: Estes Omega K-52P (Early PNC-60AH (Injection Molded)) Instructions, Page 1: Estes Omega K-52P (Early PNC-60AH (Injection Molded)) Instructions, Page 2: Estes Omega K-52P (Early PNC-60AH (Injection Molded)) Instructions, Back: The .pdf files I was sent totaled nearly 9MB, which I believe is too large to share on the forum. Thanks scigs30 for the scans! There may be more variants of the instructions out there, so if you find one, please scan them and share them here.

I was looking through old Estes catalogs earlier tonight.
Seen this on a page with 2 D motors. Had to inlarge the print to read it. Thinking it was also D powered. When Jolly Logic release the Chute Release, I might have one of these cloned to take D's. (And a good pair of bionoculars!) |

Semroc used to produce a Retro-Repro version of it that takes a pair of "E" motors. It's not an exact match, but for most it'd work. Mind you, theirs had a simulated Cineroc instead of the payload section. A standard payload section (balsa nosecone, body tube segment, nose block, and eyebolt) was also available for a little more.
Me, I've cloned one (Estes) (without the rail guides) that is on a pair of "D" motors, and two others that are "E" compatible.

I've talked with Randy, and I just need the reducer, clear plastic payload tube and nose cone.
It's all in cart, I just have to spending my allowance on FeeBay! |
