The Manufacturer Forum was a little odd this year. I'm guessing since the host hotel was a bit of a drive and the night launch was Saturday night, they wanted to keep everyone on the field. So, they had the Forum under the Contest Range tent as the sun was setting. I don't think Chris (Naram Live) was taping any of the Forum. My friend taped me doing my part with NewWay Space Models but, nothing else.
Red River Rocketry showed 3 new kits. Carl of Semroc showed the new kits listed on their website. (My son, Luke, built and flew a Semroc prototype future kit with the maple seed fins that spin down) Gary of Aerotech talked about a few new reloads for larger motors. He also mentioned that the partnership with Estes was going good. Jim Flis was there but, my memory escapes me right now what he spoke about, though I think he mentioned FlisKits 10th anniversary for which they had cake (very good cake). I showed the 3 new square rocket kits from my NewWay Space Models (which I am going to display in another thread under vendors). Kyle that bought Commonwealth Rocketry spoke. Randy from eRockets.biz showed a flameproof sheet of thin plastic that was interesting. There might have been others.

ARA Press was there and talked about the upcoming Soviet N-1 book that sounded interesting. Otherwise I think you got it all.

That Mars Lander flight looked like a decent NORMAL NON-underpowered ML flight. LESS than that is UNDER-powered.

Thanks Doug. Several vendors contributed to this project (especially Semroc, Gordon, and BMS), Gordon doing the heavy lifting on the big nose and working with me on the markings. Thanks Gordon! Photos by Chris Taylor and John Pace.

Thanks for posting the pics. I think what really appeals to me are the dual attractions of this being both exquisitely scale and simultaneously chad staged/redneck I'm sure my friends south of the Ohio will agree Doug .

Not here!
Nope, Bob, I never got 'em. I wrote 'em off (sad, was looking forward to another "unique" bird in the fleet --- especially since the decals provided for the CC Express at NARAM-53 were so awesome!)...
I wonder if anyone else ever saw theirs? Maybe the lesson I should take away from this one is, "Don't show up for Friday early registration at NARAM --- wait for Saturday morning!" (but, seriously, I had a great time in Muskegon --- this doesn't really sully the experience at all. A tiny disappointment at most)

I'll have to see if we have any records at work on when the decals were shipped. I thought they were shipped the same day as the kits but my memory isn't that good to know for sure.

Yes, I picked up my NARAM-54 decal for the Dark Energy kit at the check-in table in the hotel Friday night.
