Default Anyone have a low number Semroc X-21 they're willing to trade?

I'm looking for a Semroc X-21 kit witha production number 10 or below. I have several Semroc kits with numbers in the 6-10 range to trade.

Thanks.

Romie

Romie,

I received the NARAM 47 commemorative X-21 kit and ordered another kit later. I was not able to see a number decal in either one of the sealed kits. In the past, SEMROC had been very good about making the decal visable from the front or back.
They now note that only reserved new kits will have the numbered decal. Perhaps they stopped putting them in the other kits. It would be once less expense and save a packaging step.
I will check my second kit to see if I can spot a decal number and get back to you if there is one.

Chas,

The cost of the production numbers was not a consideration when we decided to stop putting them in all the kits and just have them on the reserved kits. It was just too much trouble to keep them in order when I restocked the bins.

Romie,

I errored in that the one X-21 kit was from the March NARCON in Wisconsin. That stays in the Collection. I did open the second kit and could not find a serial number decal. The darn laser cut balsa parts kept falling out of the sheets <g>. Oh Bother.

Sheryl,

That is wonderful input on why the decals will not be in non-reserved kits. It makes sense, but you have spoiled us to the point of some of us actually keeping a list of out numbered SEMROC kits...
