If Estes ever would reproduce the OMEGA and create an updated Cineroc, I'd hope they add that decal in. However, I think (once the STL files go up) that they won't create a DV of the Cineroc. I'd love to see them put up the shell of it though.

I find it odd that you can't tell the one colored with the marker. I found it hard to tell only after I applied paint. IMHO the marker looked flat and ugly (uneven) up close and in person.

I'd love to see a scan of that photo you mentioned.

In the second picture in post #104 you can see it looks somewhat flat, I meant after you applied the paint to the one with the marker it looks good in the close up.

Some more info on the decal...

Presuming that Mike simply used the OMEGA from the decal sheets (which I make out to be an 11 point font) , and didn't have a custom designed decal made for it... I've figured that the word "cineroc" should be printed using a 48 point Haettenschweiler font.

The white "cineroc" decal on the camera body looks to be a 30 point Haettenschweiler font.

Got to a printer today (don't have one at home), and 48 pt font is too small, 72 is too big

My calipers are telling me that the Estes Logo (on the K-52A decal sheet) is .739" long (measuring the original's decal, and not a scan or a printout). I'm guessing that Estes used a common font size (11pt) for the OMEGA on the decal sheet (and not 11.25pt like my math gives me).

SO, that makes the letter "O" in "OMEGA" 0.15277777777778" tall (somewhere between 9/64" and 5/32") . Based on that, the correct length for the word "cineroc"is 2.0667" long (between 2 1/16" and 2 5/64" long) and the DV ~.644" tall... Which is danger close to 48pt font (according to the info I found online about font sizes and letter sizes).

AAAARRRRRRGGGGGG!!!!!
