Lunchtime Launch Session Today
I ventured out with range box and models in hand to the park.
My intention was to get a couple flights in on the newly built Lynx. The flight was scrubbed - wind picked up, and the automatic sprinklers came on downrange....not a good scenario. Right before this, I did manage to get another good flight in on the Hornet, except that the shock cord broke at ejection. The booster section lawn darted and the payload recovered on a streamer. All parts were retrieved un-damaged. Thank goodness for soft turf! Will look for a day when the wind conditions are better to launch the Lynx....
